Why We Built This
My mother's doctors told us they found everything in time. Three months later, she was gone. My sister-in-law was certain she had beaten cancer. It came back, violent, and took her. Nobody prepares you for this.
Here As One was built in memory of these two women — and for everyone who finds themselves in impossible moments, alone with emotions they don't know how to name.
We are not doctors. We are not therapists. We are people who loved, and lost, and wanted to create something that might help someone else feel less alone in that darkness.
